Selecting the correct feather for your application is reasonably straight forward.
Ostrich feathers & plumes
Ostrich feathers range in size from 5 inch - 30 inch and longer and are ideal for costumes, masks, fans, head dresses, bridal wear, flower crafts, doll making, carnivals, mardi gras, Halloween, Christmas, miniatures, dusters, cat toys and almost any application where similar feather style is required in various sizes.
Ostrich feathers are available as drabs, spadonas (spads - nando's), male and female wing feathers, blondenes, floss, tails, byocks, ruggies, slopes and chick feathers.
Ostrich wing feathers are plucked from the ostrich and regrow for replucking. Drabs, tails, spadonnas, floss and all short feathers are taken from the ostrich at processing time.

Coque feathers originate from roosters and are available as black iridescent, half bronze, off white and natural chinchilla. Coque feathers are collected at the time of processing.
